Setting your intention before you start:

A good start is to prepare mentally and emotionally for a 3 to 5-day cleansing (This is not necessarily a fast. You have options of eating certain food). Ask yourself:

  • what are my goals/intentions for this cleanse?
  • what do I want to have in my life as a result of the SuperCleanseMe DSL week?

We will offer a few pathways for the cleansing. So, you can choose the most appropriate one for your situation.

Main Preparation
For any cleanse, some measure of preparation is required before beginning them. If you are a drinker, a smoker or like your coffee, it's a good idea to wean these items out of your diet before going on the fast. Indulging in them while cleansing corrupts the whole purpose of going on fast in the first place. If you take any prescription drugs it's a good idea to check with your doctor or pharmacist to see if the drugs you are taking must be taken with food.

If the body is particularly toxic work your way into the fast slowly, consuming only fruits and vegetables the first day.

What you'll need: We find what works best at the best price.  If you have something of equal high quality, use that.  Remember, quality or homemade and organic makes a big difference during a cleanse. Make the choices that work with your schedule and budget.

  • Lots of fresh vegetables.  We recommend those that have both a high cleansing effect and contain allot of chlorophyll such as: broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, kale, collard greens, turnips, kohlrabi, beets, asparagus, kale, or chard. If you can, organic is best.
  • Celtic Sea Salt (not the white kind; it should be greenish and a bit sticky).
  • Wakame or other seaweed (can be found at most Asian/international stores)
  • Lots of limes or lemons
  • Grade B Maple Syrup (w/no other additives)
  • cayenne pepper
  • An herbal cleansing tea like Amazon Shipibo Treasure Tea or A.M. Detox herbal tea (optional)
  • 9-12 (natural) bread rolls (whatever flour: rye, sprouted or spelt you can eat). You must either leave them out to harden for 3 day or dry toast them to make them hard; You'll chew 3 rolls a day of phase II
  • A tub of good quality yogurt (organic, with live cultures)
