Setting your intention before you start:
A good start is to prepare mentally and emotionally for a 3 to 5-day cleansing (This is not necessarily a fast. You have options of eating certain food). Ask yourself:
- what are my goals/intentions for this cleanse?
- what do I want to have in my life as a result of the SuperCleanseMe DSL week?
We will offer a few pathways for the cleansing. So, you can choose the most appropriate one for your situation.
Main Preparation For any cleanse, some measure of preparation is required before beginning them. If you are a drinker, a smoker or like your coffee, it's a good idea to wean these items out of your diet before going on the fast. Indulging in them while cleansing corrupts the whole purpose of going on fast in the first place. If you take any prescription drugs it's a good idea to check with your doctor or pharmacist to see if the drugs you are taking must be taken with food.
If the body is particularly toxic work your way into the fast slowly, consuming only fruits and vegetables the first day.
